Dust Devils are the Young Devils

DevilsHead coach Bill Beckman just had one of the best days in his career last April. On April 25, his team won the championship for the under-8 division at the Prescott Tournament. Coach Bill did a great job in being Lake Havasu City Dust Devil head coach. He worked hard during practice and did extra work when he got home by planning strategies that will fit the ability of his young team. He had been very patient with the kids during practice and became like a father for them. Much can be credited to this outstanding head coach. However, he passes the credit on to the young squad composed by eight of the finest kids he ever knew: Max Warner, Noah Sczesny, Nick Rizzo, Trenton Beyers, Peyton Luzzi, Trenton Beyers, Evan Anderson, Adeline Beckman, and Troy Anderson.
As expected when a big hockey game is on the line, the big guns will take over. The Dust Devil rolled their way to the tournament by the leadership of Peyton Luzzi on the ice rink Being the MVP of his team, Peyton carried a the hopes of his teammates and the team’s supporters—and he did not let them down. He played excellent hockey and discouraged the other team by being seemingly unstoppable. He was also supported by the Dust Devil’s top scorer Max Warner. The team was able to focus on their offensive play because they were backed up by one of the tournament’s most reliable goalie, Evan Anderson. The Dust Devil goalie proved that he was not just given the Outstanding Goalie honor, he earned it through his game.
But despite the big guns that stepped up during the game, the championship all boiled down to team work. The team excellent played the puck, made quick plays, and delivered assists to each other when they needed it most.
